Personalize your information needs

Everyone’s approach to information / research is unique. Start the new term with personalizing your information needs.
Do you know that database platforms offer a number of useful features to support you?
Creating a personal (user) account in a database enables you to get timely alerts about new content, to save your searches and to create a list of your favourite journals.

First step of personalization is to register as a user and to create an user account. Choose your database from SaxionLibrary. Check the possibility to register or sign up as a new user.
Next step is to create alerts. Depending on the database there are different types of alerts.
New Content alerts
tell you when a new issue published in your selected titles is available online. Latest article alerts tell you whenever new articles are published rapidly online, making new knowledge available to you in the shortest possible time. Citation alerts notify you whenever a record that you have chosen has been cited.
It is also possible to save searches and set a search alert on new content which match your search criteria.

Saxion Library website also offers the possibility for personalization. Login on the website with your Saxion account and organize your favorite Saxion Library resources.
Each library resource has an add-on button (“My Favourites) which you can use to create your digital bookshelf, journal or video collection.
